Cassandro, the Exotico!

CASSANDRO, THE EXOTICO!: With flashes of light, jerky cuts, shifts in tempo and glowing colors, the film follows the last five years in the career of Saúl “Cassandro” Armendáriz as a professional exótico wrestler. Cassandro played a seminal role in developing the exótico category in wrestling, whereby the fighters appear in drag and challenge macho stereotypes. BIM, BAM, BOOM, LAS LUCHAS MORENAS will be screened beforehand, a cinematic celebration of the three Moreno sisters, legendary Mexican wrestlers.
